Ben earman7/28/2023 The Guild’s summer show showcases the vocal talents of Kelly Clemenzi, Ben Earman, Scott Freshley, Sara Gordon, Jillian Lopes, Derrick Paul, Dana Rogers, Larry Strauss and Valery Valentine as well as Jacob Craig on piano. Directed by Ben Earman and Mark Wygonik, the show features songs from many of the Guild’s biggest hits – King and I, Hairspray, Evita, Guys and Dolls – along with future show candidates that include Follies, Jekyll & Hyde, Ragtime and Sister Act. This Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 20-23, the Vero Beach Theatre Guild presents its Concert-style musical review, “Celebrating 60”. Tickets, $35, are available at the Cultural Council Office, 2041 14th Avenue and on its website, THURSDAY, JULY 20 Vero Beach High School’s Symphony Orchestra has been invited to perform the first piece on the program with the Summerfest Chamber Orchestra. Music students from middle through high school are invited to not only attend the performance as guests of the Cultural Council, but to personally interact with the Orchestra members prior to the performance. Twenty musicians from ten countries around the world will be performing an exciting program including the works of Bach, Mendelssohn, Vivaldi, Piazzolla and Ravel as well as pieces by Lorenzo Turchi-Floris, Summerfest Composer in Residence.
